What we collect and why
This site is run by volunteers for Shelby Farms BMX. We collect as little as we can.
Forms
When an adult submits the rider inquiry, sponsorship inquiry, volunteer signup or event registration form, we store what they typed so a volunteer can reply and so coordinators can run their shifts and events. Forms are meant to be completed by a parent, guardian or adult. We ask for a rider's first name and age only where it is needed to group riders, and nothing else about a child.
To limit spam, we keep a short-lived, salted hash of the submitting connection's address for a couple of days. We do not store the address itself.
We use the email address you give us to reply to you and, for volunteers and registrations, to send a confirmation. We do not sell or share it.
Donations
Donations are processed by a third party payment provider on their site. We never see or store card numbers.
Photos
Photos on this site are of riders and families at the track or at BMX events. If you would like a photo of your child removed, email REPLACE-ME@shelbyfarmsbmx.com and we will take it down.
